GRID Legends Deluxe Upgrade pricing issue

During ongoing Steam Sale I noticed GRID Legends Deluxe Edition on sale for a very good price, while Deluxe Upgrade is still not discounted at all. This creates a rather awkward scenario where as an owner of vanilla Grid Legends on Steam I can't buy GRID Legends Deluxe Edition, because Steam won't allow purchase of the same product for my account, only gift purchase for someone else. That way I am forced to purchase very pricey Deluxe Upgrade if I want full Grid Legends experience, because EA is not discounting it. I find this to be very anti consumer and a lose lose situation cause I simply won't spend any money to buy overpriced Deluxe version upgrade while GRID Legends Deluxe Edition is dirt cheap and unpurchaseable for owners of vanilla GRID Legends, that way I don't get the content and EA doesn't profit from my purchase. Hope EA reconsiders their pricing of Deluxe Upgrade.
