Could ea possibly think about prioritising more rpg focused games like assassins creed Valhalla I would be in favour of Viking themed open world game from EA or even maybe utilising history more for a theme instead of fantasy. Sony made god of war ragnarok and ubi made assassins creed Valhalla I think it’s EA turn to have a go at it.

Hi @mickey921 Thanks for taking a moment to share your feedback with the community, while we may have to wait a bit for games like Dragon Age Dreadwolf.
I am curious about which studio you would think could make something similar to AC: Valhalla. It was an interesting one to play that I never finished but had an interesting open world.

@EA_Illium Thanks for getting back to me.
I never heard of dragon age I just looked it up it looks interesting. The story behind Ragnar lothbrok would be a good story line or there’s plenty of others in Norse mythology. I’m unsure about the studio I hear the new Star Wars have a really good open world and maybe the team in Sweden they always do a good job in my opinion
and they have the landscapes close by to get some ideas. Yeah AC Valhalla is good I like the mix between history dynamic story choices the scenery and the mythology and the background music even plays a big part.

@EA_Illium AC Valhalla was the first AC game I completed then afterwards I went on to completing origins and odyssey I’m not particularly interested in the assassin lore I just liked the themes of Egypt Greece and the Viking story in a RPG format I read that ac Valhalla was there best seller it made well over 1 billion and the other two odyssey and origins did very well so I think it’s a mistake for Ubisoft to back track to there original formula so I’m left wanting more Viking story😂. So I’m hoping some developer sees how popular Norse stories are and there’s a huge appetite for it.

@mickey921 The AC series is by far one of my most favorite series in gaming because of the time periods they chose, the store missions, and the massive open worlds. I would love to see more RPG games come through in general. Dragon Age and Mass Effect also fall into my favorite series because of the writing and the story content. You can spend hours and hours playing these games just for story content. For Dragon Age, the gameplay mechanics are very different than AC so you cannot go into this one with the mindset of the play style being the same. As it is a free-run game, the combat system is very different so when played, there has to be patience. The Bioware community has a lot of welcoming players who are here to answer any question you have about missions, gear, builds you name it.
Also, if you have not yet, you should check out the Immortals of Aveum trailer as well here. Let us know what you think about this one.

As I can get bored easily I haven’t completed any of the huge AC games. Plus I have issues with how Ubisoft design the game to make time savers hard to resist.
But AC Syndicate was awesome. 20-30 hours to 100% it and only addons i bought were the extra levels.
Apparently AC Mirage is going to be similar size open world so looking forward to seeing reviews when it comes out.
Currently reinstalled Shadow of Mordor. 100% it 3 times but it’s so so awesome despite its 10ish years old. It’s still a banger and top 3 all time games.

@EA_Shepard Yeah that’s the reason I like AC series the time periods and tons of hours exploring. There’s the whole of history for game developers to choose from I think assassins creed are limited due to the fact they have to fit the assassin lore in so I think a company like ea would have more freedom in that area. I have been meaning to go back and play mass effect again I played it right when andromeda came out and there was a few issues but I assume they are mostly resolved now so that’s defo on my playlist for the future. I think it’s on Ea play. I seen the immortals of aveum trailer watching some reviews on it now it definitely looks really fun and I don’t think I have seen a game like it so 10/10 for the creativity also the surroundings look amazing. it will be a game I would like to try before I buy.
@ScarDuck14 Yeah shadow of Mordor is still on my to do list. Actually looking forward to getting stuck into that one. Also unsure about mirage as it was meant to be a dlc for Valhalla and they ended up turning it into a full game so it might not be long enough for me looking forward to project red tho.
