Hi i am stuck in springfield heights part 6 task. I cannot make my springfielders make gadgets because it says i need to upgrade storage or spend resources. ( i have 12/10 gadgets) I cannot spend resources because the prices of the lands are higher than the gadgets i currently have. I cant spend them

Get more realestate value to unlock more workers and more storage.
You could buy a fountain with the smart devices, they are also used for making statues.
Have some patiensens. This is not timed. You have all the time i the world.
