Newer players cannot collect Lotus Flowers

New players who have just reached level 15 and gotten Marge and started the Springfield Enlightened event are unable to collect Lotus flowers for the event.

The characters are supposed to go to any of the color houses if they do not have a minnow pond, but it does not work. It just says Building not available. They have tried storing the houses and rebooting. They have tried reinstalling.

Minnow ponds are not available until level 20.

@11EEveyI CONFIRM! This has also happened to some users of my Facebook groups! They say level 15 is enough to start the event, but sadly that's not true .. unless you spend donuts to buy Screamapillar Pond

@11EEvey Level 34 is required for the minnow pond

@Bafanc - it's not ideal, but a newer player would hopefully have enough of the free donuts from the starting levels to get Burns Boxes and win one.
Yes, there should be a "Just in case" plan for that which works, or just change the level requirement for players to go and buy one, and it would be lovely to get it patched - but I hope they're too busy fixing issues with these accursed verification codes !!
On that note I have a new EA account from all this, so I'm going to add my Me Too in support because I'd soon hit level 15 if I was to go and use that for a third town.

@Bafanc  Fandom site says 34 and  it came with level 34 but the wikisimpsons says level 20 is minimum. I usually trust wikisimpsons more for things like this, but it could be wrong. If it really is level 34 then these players are in deep doodoo.

The Minnow Pond can also be obtained from the Burns Mystery Box.  If you don't get it on the first attempt, just keep trying.  I have dozens and have sold of hundreds.

@wadebear true! And affordable too! With only 6 donuts you can win the pond, but also characters like Blue Haired Lawyer, Squeaky Voice Teen and Kearney .. and there are also prizes of 10 and 30 donuts!

I do not understand what is going on I cannot start the Enlightenment and The Simpsons tapped out and it is very frustrating I am currently on level 18 and cannot do the lotuses or stack the rocks so I guess I cannot do this event which is not fair can somebody help me with this
