[OPEN] [S] Umbrella resets everytime I change neighborhood [ Edited ]

How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
What is your current game version number? 1.73.57.1030
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All Expansions, all Game Packs, all Stuff Packs. Only Country Kitchen Kit.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Place the umbrella stand in build mode in your home. Play with your Sims in a neighborhood in a world for at least 3 sim days and instruct them to store the umbrella in the umbrella stand. Change neighborhood (staying in the same world) and play with other Sims for at least 3 sim days (always taking care to have placed the umbrella stand in this other house). Go back to the previous neighborhood in the first family visited and you will see that the Sims when it rains will open the umbrella again.
What happens when the bug occurs? The command to stow the umbrella resets when I change neighborhoods and play with another family, so it always results in my Sims not stowing it in the umbrella stand and opening it again when it rains.
What do you expect to see? That the umbrella would stay in the umbrella stand even after playing with another family in another neighborhood.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

Edit By Crinrict: Filled out template from post. Make sure you set the language of AHQ to english before posting a bug report. That was most probably the issue in your case

@crinrict it was already in English, my problem was I had only the Preview button, not the Submit one. Thank you for filling the template for me.

@GiardiniDiMarzo Then you need to fill something the comment field even if it's just a space (or multiple until submit button appears)

@GiardiniDiMarzo Yes!  When I first got Seasons, I thought the umbrellas were a neat idea.  I still think it's cool to see NPC's pulling out the umbrellas when it's raining.  However, I absolutely hate my active sims having umbrellas.  It interrupts game play more than I realized it would.  This is especially so for spellcasters who won't transportalate when they're carrying something.  So, I've been giving my sims the waterproof reward trait and keeping those umbrellas stowed away.  I want my played sims to forget umbrellas even exist!  I remember the first time my sim went to the hijinx festival after getting seasons.  I wanted to watch the fireworks in first person but I couldn't because my sim kept opening that stupid umbrella. lol

I think this is by design. The game does not different played sims from unplayed sims if you play active another family. It is the same with the fan situation. You played sims(non active) will/can pick for fan-situations (what I hate! My vampire is not a fan from Judith or Brytani!)

So, if its rain and your played(non active) sims are there the game give the sims the black umbrella. It’s the same problem with the ridiculous situations outfit. I would love it when the game leave played sims alone with all this *feature*.

Solution: Have an umbrella stand and remove the umbrella if you rotate back to this family.

@daikoyu I don't know if I got it right, but this is what happens:
- I play with my active sims (I call them "A"), I tell them to put the umbrella away.
- I change neighborhoods, play with other sims (I call them "B"), in the same world. "A" is not present and doesn't even show up.
- I return to "A", it starts raining, "A" pulls out the umbrella, when I had told them to put it away.

I still call it a default behaviour and think it is by design. I really can understand you. I play most the time rags to riches and every time I rotate back, I must go to my neighbour to put away this damn umbrella because my sims do not have an umbrella stand at home.

@daikoyu This is not by design as there are mods to fix this issue. This is a clear oversight by the sims team and has not been fixed, like many other issues for years now.

Have you looked in the bug forum to see if this has already been reported? "Me Too" a post if it exists or fill in the template and create a new bug report https://answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports/bd-p/The-Sims-4-Bugs
