[OPEN] [S] No animation for shower in the rain interaction (Patch 1.73) [ Edited ]

How often does the bug occur? Occasionally (10% - 49%)
What is your current game version number? 1.73.57.1030
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All but Batuu
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Have your sim shower in the rain
What happens when the bug occurs? The sim just stands there doing nothing and their bladder and hygiene need goes up.
What do you expect to see? I expect my sim to do the showering animations and not pee his pants as he doesn't have the slob trait.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. The patch on April 28th, 2021.

So far I've tested only two of my saves – one that was started before the patch came out and one that I started today. Only the new save seems to be affected.

EDIT: So far it seems to be connected to the jungle in Selvadora in my game.

@crinrict Can't remember which one it was the first time I noticed it, but I tested again in heavy rain and it happened again.

Is the bladder need filling up a feature, as that seems to happen even when the animations are working?

@Xiaco I tested and light rain is also still broken for me but heavy rain works fine.

You do have Eco, right ?

Also, I did some testing and it seems that when one sim is in the jungle in Selvadorada, the animations for showering in the rain no longer work. At least when my sim returned from the jungle he and sims in other worlds could shower in the rain properly.

EDIT: Works for me there too. Any particular area ? Have you tested multiple Sims to see if it's a certain Sim that has issues ?

EDIT EDIT: It seems totally random for me. In 99% of the cases it works, and then it doesn't. There needs to be some factor.

@crinrict  I loaded up an old save and sent Jeb Harris to Selvadorada. He could shower in the rain normally until he passed the first overgrown path to the jungle. After that there were no animations for the showering while he was in the jungle. I also tested the same save where I first noticed the bug. My sim plays the correct animations until he goes to the jungle. The animations stop working after the first overgrown path in this save too. Maybe that's the common denominator?

The animations not showing for other sims in different worlds seems to be random though. Johnny Zest couldn't shower in the rain in Oasis Springs (heavy rain) while my custom sim was in the jungle, but when Jeb Harris was in the jungle Johnny could shower normally. So idk really. That part's weird and random for me too.

EDIT 1: I did a new test with the Delgato family in the same save where I tested on Jeb Harris. Supriya Delgato had no problem whatsoever showering either in her home lot in Brindleton Bay or in the jungle.

EDIT 2: Just to clarify, Jeb is a young adult in my save. In case anyone was wondering how I managed to get a teen to shower in the rain. :D

@Xiaco So our results are similar .. totally random. I had issues with a Sim on a lot in Willow Creek .. second time it worked fine. No idea.

I have this Bug since forever (I think since season release?). I never bother to report it because its exceedingly rare and the bug do not follow a logic when he appears. As long the needs go up, I’m fine with it.

@daikoyu It was supposed to be fixed in the last patch.

Before it was pretty easy to duplicate: Didn't work in light rain at all and didn't work if you didn't have Eco but seems there's still something else going on.

I couldn't find a pattern.
