What happens when the bug occurs? Holiday pop-up doesn't appear on the screen, traditions do not complete. Works after lot is re-loaded.
What do you expect to see? The holiday to load at 6am like the other ones do
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure
This has been occurring for me since April. I'd assumed it was a mod issue since I can't find any posts about this anywhere and I had a mod update around the same time, but I've now tested after repairing the game and completely removing the Sims 4 folder from ~/Documents/Electronic Arts and setting things up from scratch, and it's still happening (and no, I have not reinstalled my mods).
Re-loading the lot in any way (travel, going into CAS and back out, quitting and re-loading the game) allows the holiday to load. All other holidays load correctly, both random and user-definable.
I do set my season length to 14 days instead of 7, but if I change it back to 7 the night before the holiday, the issue is still occurring. I have some other gameplay/pack settings I always change as well, but that's the only one related to Seasons.
It's difficult to say exactly when this started since the holiday comes up so rarely, but it was sometime around when Neighborhood Stories and the My Wedding Stories pack came out. It was definitely before the patch that came out on 24 May, and almost certainly before the one that came out 26 April.
I am not getting any Last Exception files, but I have my save file available, and could provide my Options.ini file if there's a chance the issue is in there (though the only global settings I changed were video resolution, Music volume, and I disabled one music track in the Classical station).
