[OPEN] Plants always die before even blooming [ Edited ]

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.72.28.1030
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All major packs, all gameplay packs but Wellness, no accessories packs except for tiny houses, knit, paranormal and sun terrace
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Plant plants
What happens when the bug occurs? Since installing Seasons I plant plants and whether they're in season or not, they just wither and die without ever blooming first. Fertiliser doesn't help,... Nothing does. And I didn't cut them or anything.
What do you expect to see? Plants that bloom, bear fruits and preferably live on after their season and only die if I forget to take care of them.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. Ever since I bought Seasons. There is a mod that fixes the problem, but now I try to play the legacy challenge, so I deinstalled the mod and the problem is still there.

I don't know if I miss anything that I'm supposed to be doing, but I can't imagine that it's planned and intended that plants die before ever bearing harvestables every single time.

@Taaya Do they give out a green mist but aren't actually dead (you can't trash them) or can you dispose of them ?

I can dispose of them.

Not after they died. They live for two or three days after sprouting, and sometimes they can be watered in that time, but then they die before having changed to blooming.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I typically get about 2-3 planter boxes and fill them up, not sure if it matters how many though.
What happens when the bug occurs? I either am never able to harvest anything from the plants or they die very quickly.
What do you expect to see? I expect to have a garden and be able to harvest

Please describe the patch or change you made. This started happening around the end of May/June so whatever update occurred then.

I also noticed that some plants aren't affected and are able to continue to thrive but for example grapevines and apple trees arent.

@crinrict Yes I can water, talk to them tend garden and etc. although I haven’t tried without mods I’ll see
