[OPEN] [DU] Juice Pong missing check-mark for 'play with teammate' [ Edited ]

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Place ping pong table. Select Play Juice Pong With Teammates. Choose the 1st two sims. Choose the other two Sims. There's supposed to be a check mark
What happens when the bug occurs? Once all 4 teammates are chosen there is no check-mark at the bottom of the pop up window for them to play juice pong. Once there is no option, I can't continue. Then when I try to play juice pong with only 2 sims the check-mark also disappears. The whole feature is unusable.
What do you expect to see? To be able to play juice pong with teammates and for there to be a check-mark for the sims to actually play the game.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No

This feature was working for a bit when I 1st got Discover University but then stopped. I backed up my entire Sims folder and started a brand new, factory reset game without mods. The check-mark wasn't there. I then exited the game and repaired it through EA app.Tested the juice pong table again and it allowed me to play 1 game with teammates because the check-mark was there. I canceled the interaction and tried again with different teammates and the check-mark disappeared again.

@Addellina I've also been experiencing this recently. Both with teammates and 1:1 juice pong. And it doesn't happen all the time, so it's hard to replicate or determine a pattern. But I'd say it happens 75% of the time, so juice pong doesn't work.

But ping pong seems to work with no issue.

I've been having this issue too! I couldn't remember if there was supposed to be a checkmark there or if it should just automatically close the window & start the task. For me I can pick my teammate--there's no checkmark, but once I pick a sim it automatically changes to the next screen (where you pick sims for the opposing team). Once I pick the two opposing sims, it just... does nothing. No checkmark, and no task-starting. The window just stays there like you're supposed to do something, but the only option available is to close the window aka cancel the interaction altogether. help us ea

This is also a problem I am experiencing. I also noticed that after attempting to use "play with teammate" or "play juice pong against," the check mark disappears from the game table as well, when it was there prior to attempting to use the ping pong table.
