Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
What is your current game version number? 1.97.62.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All expansion packs, all game packs, all stuff packs except the sports pack, a few kits.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Have a child sim. Save the child to your library before they get the lose tooth. Wait until the child loses their tooth. Compare the child to their earlier version that was saved to your library. It is more visible if you age the child up into a teen.
What happens when the bug occurs? Your child sims genetics get distorted when the lose tooth comes off. The facial features shrink.
What do you expect to see? The sims genetics remaining the same after the lose tooth coming off.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure
This child sim was born after the lose tooth feature was disabled for awhile. Hence, her genetics cannot be affected by the original lose tooth bug. Before patching my game I saved her to my library. She got the lose tooth moodlet, and the tooth came off. In her child form the difference is not very clear, but it is super clear when you age her up. Her facial features shrank significantly. Please, EA, if it's too difficult to fully fix this feature, unless make it optional for players. I prefere having sim kids with normal features over the tooth thing which doesn't add that much gameplay wise.
I have some cc in my game but not mods atm.
Here's a picture of her before and after losing a tooth. As you can see, her eyes and chin shrunk significantly.

What happens when the bug occurs? sims are still distorted with deformed faces but now also have distorted bodies, mostly very skinny or disproportionate and not the same as they were
What do you expect to see? sims to look normal, the way they did before the patch broke them

Please describe the patch or change you made. it was the tooth loss patch (newest patch)
My sims are still distorted even after the patch that was supposed to fix it, but now in addition to squashed faces or small eyes etc, they don't have their given bodies. They are either ridiculously skinny or disproportionate. I never saved the game after the initial bug, so these sims are not supposed to be bugged as far as I understand.
Really sad because I poured almost a decade into some of these sims :'(
Thanks for any help

There was another post about this and it was confirmed that any sim affected by this before the patch are permanently deformed. The patch only applies to sims that get loose teeth after its release. Someone suggested using a copy/paste of a sim's appearance before the bugged appearance using MCCC (I don't use mods, only relaying what I've seen others saying) or you could enable cas.fulleditmode on cheat and manually change your sim's appearance that way. Unfortunately, there is no fix for affected sims pre-patch, from what was confirmed.

@BumblebeeCat9 Update on my sim. She lost her tooth two more times and each time bugged her appearance further. The nose rose up and lips became smaller, like in the original glitch which is clearly not fixed!!! Here is an updated picture of her.

@BumblebeeCat9 Sorry, my bad. I misread the post and thought they were talking about something else.
