Product: The Sims 4
Platform: PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.110.265.1030
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? have the For Rent DLC
What happens when the bug occurs? when a maintenance challenge appears, you immediately go to the rental to solve the issue, you do it less than one hour after the warning appears and instead of saying it got solved, it says that nothing was done and the unit rating went down. This has happened over 4 times out of 4 and I still don't even know what the other message looks like.
What do you expect to see? For the DLC to work as expected since I like to go to the rentals and solve these issues, and it's not fair to get a low rating due to this bug, over and over with all the rentals. It makes me want to not use it anymore.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No, there was an update recently but this was happening before (for everyone).

My tenants moved out and broke the lease because of it. This bug is very annoying

I have now also received a different outcome: "Looks like the (tenant household name) household got it figured out on their own and you got away with ignoring the (tenant problem)! Pay careful attention next time or your Unit Rating may go down. Instead of a tense moodlet, my sim is Playful +2 from "Getting Away With it (From Failing to Address Tenant Problem)" The description says "(sim's name) failed to address the unit event properly, but looks like it went away on its own or the Tenant household somehow sorted it out. Lucky result!".
I am currently playing the 100 Baby Challenge, still without mods or CC, and my sim went into labour after completing the unit event. It is also Winterfest in my game!

Didn't have this bug until recently. Last month when I was playing and would fix an issue for my tenants I got the "congrats on fixing the problem" message. Now I have multiple saves and each one with a tenant has this bug and keeps telling me I didn't resolve the issues when I did. Had one renter move out due to issues that I had fixed already and my unit rating went down. One thing I know I can do to fix the rating is to go do maintenance and upgrades on everything that I can but I know at some point that won't fix the overall issue with the bug.

Yep. Same thing here. I fix immediately and before the timer runs out and either says the tenant fixed it themselves or that I did nothing. I'm regretting my purchase of this expansion now.

What is your current game version number? 1.110.294.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Get to Work, Get Together, City Living, Cats & Dogs, Seasons, Get Famous, Island Living, Discover University, Eco Lifestyle, Snowy Escape, Cottage Living, Growing Together, Horse Ranch, For Rent, Outdoor Retreat, Spa Day, Dine Out, Vampires, Parenthood, Jungle Adventure, StrangerVille, Realm of Magic, Dream Home Decorator, Luxury Party Stuff, Perfect Patio Stuff, Cool Kitchen Stuff, Spooky Stuff, Movie Hangout Stuff, Romantic Garden Stuff, Kids Room Stuff, Backyard Stuff, Vintage Glamour Stuff, Bowling Night Stuff, Fitness Stuff, Toddler Stuff, Laundry Day Stuff, My First Pet Stuff, Moschino Stuff, Tiny Living Stuff, Nifty Knitting Stuff, Paranormal Stuff
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Tennant problem/event occurs, go fix the problem, pop-up says my sim didn't do anything to address that problem.
What happens when the bug occurs? It says it's not fixed or tenants fixed it themselves, but I do everything.
What do you expect to see? I expect that it says I fixed their problem like I did, not to take credit for themselves.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. Last update that was made in game, for Life & death expansion pack.
When tenant problem occurs, after I tend to that said problem, it ends and says I did nothing to address the problem and that my unit rating will go down, like I didn't fix any problem. I don't run out of time or do nothing, I go do tasks right away, but it says I didn't fix the problem and that tenants managed to fix it on their own. I don't like liars, they try to take credit for my work. ,:D

Hello all,
If any of you are still encountering this on the latest game version (without mods), would you be willing to share your save file(s)?

I am also having this issue since the new expansion pack! Every single successful event to address my tenants rentals it says I failed to address and the ratings go down! Very frustrating!
