Product: The Sims 4
Platform:Microsoft XBOX One
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.47
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Snowy Escape, Discover University, Island Living, Get Famous, Seasons, City Living, Get Together, Get To Work, Journey to Batuu, Realm of Magic, Strangerville, Vampires, Nifty Knitting, Moschino, Laundry Day, Vintage Glamour, Spooky, Perfect Patio, Luxury Party, Throwback fit kit
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Go into "My library", choose a household and select "Place Household"
What happens when the bug occurs? A message pops up saying "Content not installed. Purchased or other content used in this My Library item is not installed. If you place it now, you will not see the uninstalled content. Do you still want to place this household?"
What do you expect to see? Household should be able to be placed without the message appearing, as i have the required packs.

Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. Sims 4 Update 9/7/2021
I updated my Sims 4 game(9/7/2021) and get a warning message whenever attempting to place a household, saying I do not have the purchased content used in the household installed.
Edit By Crinrict: Added Tag to Title, Adjusted Title, merged a PC thread into this and removed console tags from title.

I'm not 100% sure if its an issue with the update, or if I actually do need to reinstall my game packs or something.

@DudeNamedWill Please uninstall the game and all packs, then reinstall the game. Make sure you have enough free space on the installation drive for the game and all content.
If you have an external drive you are using, please make sure all the content is on the same drive.
Please also make sure the purchasing account for all content is on the console and the console is set as the home console for the purchasing account.

@PoptartJuniper Quick question, so after uninstalling the game, when I go to reinstall it, will it automatically reinstall the packs too? (Sorry to ask)
September 2021
@DudeNamedWill You will need to reinstall the packs separately.

This is also happening on the PS4.

I got the same error. I was in a brand new game and hadn’t played in a long time so I decided after seeing your post that I was just going to go for it and see what happened. As far as I can tell everything that was supposed to be there was there.
I am on the Xbox One X by the way.
Good Luck!!!!!!
