[NEEDS SAVES] [CD] Dog doesn't get clean on washing in the tub [ Edited ]

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? n/a
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All of them
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Try and bathe your dog
What happens when the bug occurs? My dog never gets clean
What do you expect to see? My puppy get a bath
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No

I have two dogs in my house. 

One was a stray, one I created

My stray is perfect, but when I give my puppy a bath, she never actually gets clean, they scrub her for HOURS and the green circle that shows the action never moves. I end up canceling the action and my puppy never gets clean 

I need a clean puppy

what tub are you using ? Could you try a different puppy for testing purposes ? I cannot duplicate this on my game.

I did have similar things when I saved while bathing the dog.

Did you go to any other mode while bathing the dog ?

I've added this cause I've seen similar on fast forwarding during bathing.

It's like the never stop after that. There might be other instances that cause this. Most of the time it works fine.

Could also be that it happens if you queue a lot of things afterwards.

It's not only puppies though

If anyone that has it could post their observations, that would be great (there are me toos on this thread)

For me canceling any task I had queued or go to buy/build solves the issue.

I'm having this same issue. I've tried a few different tub types and have been unsuccessful at bathing an adult dog. Toggling between live and build/buy mode doesn't see to work. I've also tried cancelling tasks and still nothing.

Can you go to the map and see if that helps ? Traveling should def. fix it.

I had this issue in my game, I restarted and everything was fine. Have you tried a quick restart then trying it again?

I also had the endlessly cleaning the dog issue and saved and quit and restarted, and it fixed itself. However if I click on one of the bathtubs and select 'give X a bath' the sim keeps getting in the bath and bathing themselves even though they are already fully clean and they don't wash the dog at all. I had to buy a different bath tub to stop that happening.

Hold down shift, right click on the dirty puppy and select Make Happy.
