Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Own a restaurant with a VIP door to a section with tables. Open the restaurant and wait for Sims to be seated. UPDATE: You can also remove the door completely or add a regular door and lock it to everyone
What happens when the bug occurs? The Hostess will walk through the VIP and assign tables to Sims with lower or no celebrity level. These Sims with no access to the door will wave their hands as they can not path to the table. They now stand waiting to order food but they can't as they can never get to the table nor waiters greet them The stand until their rating plummets and they leave UPDATE: I tried locking the area and even removing the door completely to no avail. The host will assign sims to tables both through Locked Doors and Walls with the same negative affects
What do you expect to see? VIP areas: The Hosts should only assign VIP tables if there are VIP level Sims in the group. Then allowing both the VIP Sim and their party to pass through the door and sit at the tables. Tables that are not accessible and can not be pathed to by the Sims either because of locked doors or NO door should not be assigned at all by Hosts. Allowing restaurant owners to change or assign seating would negate this problem
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? On console - never used.
