They no longer doing Story Tellers because of this bug and this bug is permanent

@6ylaezmgfkrm It's definitely something I can't get used to, so indeed, if they have no plans on fixing these three current critical eye issues that affect the appearance of the sims, it really is a goodbye and an end of TS4 for storytellers such as myself. I guess, inZOI really is the next best thing to move onto. This is just a disaster.

I know you both want it fixed, I want it fixed too, but we need to have some patience and not being so negative. 😉

@simmireen I think so too. We should not forget that EA Cade already said that they are aware of this issue.

In the past weeks I was in the middle of a story when my Computer broke. I got a new one and I had to install Sims 4 again and sadly I was forced to get the new buggy update that I was carefully avoiding. That's life sometimes... So now I can't play the story to the end because of the eye bugs. But ok...in the meantime I am using the waiting time to build some other lots I need for my storytelling. Hopefully it is fixed by the time I am finished. 

(Although, I should be more pessimistic about it because I said the same about the For Rent corrupting issues. I used the waiting time to build a very cool street with shops and apartments for San Myshuno. But 3 months later when I finally finished my build it still was not fixed...fact is, I'm still waiting for the proper fix. So I never changed the lot into a Residential Rental and have to make believe, that my Sim rents an apartment there, when in Reality she owns the entire street. Very disappointing.)

But I don't want to be overly pessimistic about other issues, because it's not good for my health. So I still hope that they'll fix these eye issues, the sooner the better.

Yeah, I'm not gonna lie, I am a bit negative. My sim story is something that I have been progressing on almost every day since the release of TS4. It is just a part of my life now. These three critical eye issues have interrupted that. So, it has left me quite frustrated. I mean no disrespect to the DEVs. I just want all three of these critical eye issues fixed so I can continue on. Besides what EA Cade said, there hasn't been any other response or updates about these bugs. Also, the lighter eyelashes with preset eyes bug hasn't even been flagged as open. I created the topic a while ago, and this bug has also been reported in the other eye bug topics. Are they even looking into that bug? That is just as critical as this bug (eyelids not closing bug) and the eye shape bug because it too affects the appearance of the sims.

@EA_Cade Please, can you give us some news about this bug ? It is not mentioned in the laundry list and we are almost 300 to wait for a fix. We know you are working on it but we just want some news. Thank you so much

In the last news update from today the sims mentioned the bugs dedicated team is doing an update every two months. Let's hope it will be fixed in the next in november 🤞🏻

@simmireen Waiting until November is just way too long for this bug and the other eye bugs. We just got an expansion not too long ago, and a new one is coming out soon. The game is unplayable for us storytellers cause we can no longer take screenshots. Waiting until November, and that's just a maybe it will be fixed by then, is just not good and is quite discouraging.
