Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? get sim pregnant. do not buy a bassinet.
What happens when the bug occurs? game may or may not supply a bassinet - it's a crapshoot lately LOL
What do you expect to see? I expect the game to provide a bassinet as it always has
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.

Not sure if it was october or not, but that what it appears to me.
