Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? General gameplay.
What happens when the bug occurs? When playing the game as normal my Sims' 'wants' almost always revert to wanting to 'listen to music'. There is some minor variation with the wants, but considering you are now unable to freely delete them, it becomes extremely obnoxious. There is a short window for you to fulfill the Sims wants before incurring negative moodlets. Therefore my Sims have to spend a great deal of time sitting in front of the radio 'listening to music' while I painstakingly have to navigate to whatever station they want to listen to.

The Want to Listen to Music has been tuned to occur less frequently.

Fixed in Patch 1.99.264/1.78

This thread has become a bit of a collection so if you have other wants being repetitive, please create a new thread. One thread per one is best.

This happens to me as well.

One of my Sims almost always just wants to listen to music.

@PhoenixCordell Does the want at least fulfill for you ? There have also been report of it not fulfilling.

@crinrict Yes the want does fulfill, I haven't seen that become an issue. But I have noticed that the trait 'Fear of Unfulfilled Dreams' is slow to disappear even after completing multiple wants. So... I don't know if that's just a perk of the new update or a bug. Also along with the fact that it takes a short time (at least in my perspective) for Sims to get stacking negative moodlets because their wants aren't fulfilled.

@PhoenixCordell Someone else was complaining about that too but I think at this point, that's probably feedback. I currently don't have the time to look for the thread :D

@crinrict Well I found a potential short term solution to the problem... which is I removed all of the stereos and whatnot from the lot. It seems to have worked well enough for now though not ideal.

I wonder if it has something to do with the amount of wants just being very limited currently.

@crinrict Yeah, I haven't gotten HSY just yet. Hopefully things will get updated soon.

I'm having the same issue, but the want never fulfills, so my sims basically just don't get to fulfill wants anymore. Also don't have HSY yet.
