My sim was bitten and turned into a werewolf. I used cas.fulleditmode to change the wolf's appearance, but I can not change the color of the nose. It's white and blends into the face too much. I have all the packs and no cc or mods. I was able to change the nose color on a sim who was bitten in a previous save file, so I don't know why it's not letting me this time.

I had this too, I thought I was missing some thing, (my wolf's nose was white too) but I hit the randomise button (top right of the nose box) and the colours popped up overlaid on the nose options, and the next time I loaded the game, all the colours were in the right place, I removed all mods to check this and it was happening with mods installed or not.

Try resetting your user files as described in the factory reset described in this post: http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-4/FAQ-Troubleshooting-Steps-amp-Known-Issues/m-p/3621199

You won't loose anything. Just make sure to not delete any files  and make a backup.

After renaming, repair your game by right clicking on the game in Origin.

Try on a new game with nothing added back first (start new game). If it works, put back your save game and try again. If it still works, you can start putting stuff back.

  • Options.ini (or just re-set all your settings manually)
  • Tray Folder
  • Screenshots/Videos/Custom music
  • Rest of the save games (leave out slot_00000001.save which is the autosave and no longer needed - if you still have it)
  • Custom content like clothing, hair, skins, make up ....
  • ConfigOverride, if you have your own configuration files.
  • Mods (one by one, making sure they all still work)

The rest does not need putting back, cause they are mostly cache files that recreate or log files that are not needed for the game.

If this fails, please add some pictures to your thread and please also edit your post to fill in the template. If you're not prompted, please answer these questions.

@Jr3nmbr1 Is your issue a bit like this ? https://answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports/Werewolves-turned-in-game-have-monochromatic-faces/td-p/115681...

I think it's best to separate PC/Mac and console for now.

There have been reports for missing nose colors being related to mods which is why there could be multiple issues and Console being different cause they have no mods.

Re: Can not change nose color for werewolves

★ Guide

Hello, I had the same issue with a werewolf turned in game via werebies (not by asking another werewolf to bite them). A werewolf created in CAS or via cheat does not seem to have that issue. Not only the nose lacked colors but also the inside of the ears and the mouth. What worked for me was randomizing the nose. This not only brought back the color to all parts of the werewolf that aren't supposed to match the fur color but also re-added the option to select a color for the nose. Hope this can help you too.

This worked for me. My newly turned in game werewolf had pale nose, inside ears and inside mouth. Playing with no mods on PC. I tried randomizing nose and was then given back all color options for nose plus given color in inner ears and inside mouth. Thanks!

There's a similar thread here: https://answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports/Werewolves-turned-in-game-have-monochromatic-faces/td-p/115681...

Does anyone that didn't post there yet also have issues with the ears being wrong color or is it just the options missing ?

Hi!

I took my Sim into CAS both through clicking on the dresser and selecting ‘plan outfit’ and when that didn’t work I used the cheat cas.fulleditmode and shift-clicked my Sim.  Neither way worked to show available nose color swatches and inner ears, mouth, and eyeliner was pale. It wasn’t until I tried OP trick of hitting randomize swatch at the nose selector that the color came back. At that time I had used the cheat cas.fulleditmode and shift-clicked my Sim. HTH!
