[FIXED] Sims which use pronouns give blank CAS (Name/Last Name) for none-english [ Edited ]

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Play the game in another language as englisch, go in CAS with a sim which use a pronouns. (In my case is german)
What happens when the bug occurs? CAS above is blank and you need to click right to get first name and last name.
What do you expect to see? Give other languages the pronouns addon or fix this bug that other languages get still the normal CAS without the hassle to need to click right.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. 1.88.213.1030 which added this feature

As example would be the Michaelson which all have pronouns in English and suffer all from this example and Jay Robles which has too a pronoun in English. This bug occurs too for sims which are from the gallery and have pronouns. I never bother to report this issue but now that the team add pronouns to townies, I think this need to be fixed or don’t add pronouns to townies which come with a DLC. This issue is there since the release of this feature for other language.

What an identity crisis! Simmers playing in any language besides English will no longer see the First and Last Name panel blank in CAS for Sims that have selected pronouns.

I also play the game in German. I just checked the Michaelsons and Jay Robles in CAS and no name/last name is to be seen until you right click the blank space.

Yeah, it’s not only german. I check it in French and Italian, so I think this bug occurs in all languages which are not English.

This happens in Brazilian Portuguese as well. I never thought to report because I was hoping we would get the update for other languages soon, but since it's taking a while, I would love to see this bug fixed.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? When a sim has pronouns set in English, I am unable to edit their names in CAS in the Dutch version of the game. With yesterdays update (5 september 2023) Morgyn Ember was given custom pronouns. In existing games I could edit his name, but in a new save I can't see or edit the name in CAS. The field is left blank. I have had the same problem already occur with the Michealsons from growing together. I also had the same issue happing with a few random sims from the gallery. To find the bug, try edit the name of the michealsons or morgyn ember (new save) in the dutch version of the game.
What happens when the bug occurs? The name field is blank, the actual text field is totally missing and can't be edited. In game the sims appear normal over their head and in their simology panel.
What do you expect to see? I want to be able to see and edit the names of sims in my game, regardless of sims pronouns in another language. I want to be able to edit the names of these sims, especially Morgyn Ember because I want my own version of the sages.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.

I added a screenshot from a save started before the recent update, where morgyn ember has 'traditional' pronouns. I am able to change them. In the second screenshot I started a new save, no mods ever used in that save. The name field is blank. I also added a screenshot of the michealsons where I have the same issue.

I first noticed the issue with growing together but I wasn't sure if pronouns were the cause. But yesterdays update confirmed that custom pronouns break a sims name in CAS in other languages.

NOTE: I am not blaming the creator, in fact I downloaded this sims because I likes him. I just want to given another example of a sims with affected by this bug.

I would like to share that I have found a work around, sort of.

Turns out it is still possible to edit the name of a sim with custom pronouns. In the field where the name should be, there is a small area where the mouse changes when you hover over it. There is no button or visible field to click, but if you click in the right spot you can edit a sims name. The name obviously disappears right after I finish typing but the name sticks in live mode. As far as I can see the name field isn't gone, but it has become invisible.

I am pleasantly surprised how Maxis treats other languages. With the new EP For Rent all placed premade townies have pronouns and you know what this means for other languages? Happy blank lines for ALL premade sim there.

@yyyyyyaor the only work-a-round is to set your game in English (no mod exists for this bug) and I don’t believe they will ever fix this bug. This would fix itself if they would give other language the pronouns update.
