What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Horse Ranch, University, Cats and Dogs, Vampires, Werewolves, Moschino, Snow Escape, Cottage Living, Laundry Day, Get Famous, Get Together
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Every time I access any of the traits, when I go to purchase a horse from the building that competitions are held, when I initially buy a home in the new world in horse ranch and the initial message on the upper right corner doesn't contain anything, and when I hover over the different neighborhoods in the new horse ranch world, there is no text.
What happens when the bug occurs? It won't let me purchase a horse. I will click the choice that says "1,000" (which I am guessing is the options meant to purchase a horse), and then the sim will not do the action.
What do you expect to see? For me to be able to purchase a horse.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. I recently got horse ranch.

I went to go buy a horse and now all of the choices don't show properly. I've also noticed a lot of the traits and the descriptions of the different neighborhoods do not have any text.

Hey all,

This issue is now resolved.

Steam players: You should be prompted to update the game at this time, but if not you can untick the DLC in the DLC manager, then check the box again to re-download.

@OfficialPurple I have the same problem. However, I was able to purchase a horse but I can't interact with her because of missing text. Same with the mini goats.

Despite being a long-time Sims fan, I haven't played a TS4 game on release day before. That's why I'm wondering if what's happening is more common or if something is actually wrong. 

I was able to install the game a couple of minutes past 7 pm CET, however, the game does not seem to be working properly. 

I can get the new aspiration, can move to the new neighbourhood, but it looks like a beta edition of the game: information is not filled out, actions are blanked out, furniture

is **debug**, goats are **debug** and strange family names. See the image for a collection.

I'm having the same issue. Everything pertaining to Horse Ranch text is bugged. Even choosing traits in CAS, if it pertains to Horse Ranch, there is no text on the trait. Click on my horse and a bunch of text bubbles appear but they are all blank.

I have the same problem with the horse ranch pack and I bought another pack that's functioning perfectly.

I have the same problem. Going to see if I can uninstall just that pack and reinstall it.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? if u play the new ranch dlc the horses attributes dont have names at all and have no description same for the sim cant interact with the horses at all or put then in stables

What do you expect to see? just to be able to play the game correctly

@OfficialPurple Same issue. Removed all mods and verified download files. Still no text descriptions for buyable content (all listed as debug), missing NPC names and lot names, CAS trait descriptors, etc.
