[FIXED] [S] Holiday Decoration Box becomes unowned after moving/In R-Rentals [ Edited ]

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I think is a problem with rental and residential homes. I hope you can fix the problem about who owns the property
What happens when the bug occurs? When in a holiday (like harvest fest) my sims can’t decorate their home when using the decoration box. When clicking on the option it read “*name of the sim* doesn’t own the property” and it’s their residential home
What do you expect to see? The option to decorate the house
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

When any sim of the household is trying to decorate their house in a holiday (like harvest fest) through the “caja de adornos almacén del ático” (in Spanish) a message saying that my sims can’t do it because they don’t own the house, which is false.

Fixed in Patch 1.109.185/1.98

I moved a household from their residential lot onto a different lot. this household also owns a rental residential lot, but didn't live on it. At the new lot, I moved the decoration box from the household inventory, then tried to remove existing decorations that were on the house for some reason (left over from their previous lot? I didn't put anything on the eaves and foundations on this new lot). but the options are greyed out and when hovering over, there is a message that says "(sim) does not own this lot." 

I removed CC and verified this still happens. I moved them to a different lot with no house and it still happens.

I have all EPs except Get Famous

The bug template is sometimes not being displayed due to high traffic.

Is the deco box the only thing you have issues with or can you replicate it with other items ?

To be sure, this is a regular residential lot type not a rental residential  ?

@shellyskis327 I do not have For Rent and this is happening to me on my sims residential lot. My sims moved into this lot and own it, didn't use cheats like free real estate to move/purchase lot.

I've had a similar issue and I don't own For Rent. I've moved from the Evergreen Harbour apartment to the Windenburg house, and I've had my decoration box in inventory, when I placed the box, it said that I cannot decorate since I don't own a lot. Replacing the box did solve the issue tho.

Hi there
I know you don't own For Rent, but are any items other than Deco Box affected? Items that primarily have a put in inventory command are affected. If these items are affected, please check the thread below.

@Pick-a-boo_doo Also, I have the fridge issue, didn't notice anything wrong with the books

@lawlyemma I'm going to move your post over to the deco box thread. I don't know which thread you meant to post in but since you don't have the pack, I'm going to assume it's not an issue with your residential lots showing up as rentals.
