Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Upgrading the washing machine and/or dryer to complete the fourth step of the Nerd Brain aspiration does not count towards the aspiration.
What happens when the bug occurs? My Sim upgraded the washing machine and dryer but the upgrades do not count towards the Nerd Brain aspiration.
What do you expect to see? The description of the Nerd Brain aspiration states upgrading any object or repairing any object counts towards the aspiration but upgrading the washer and dryer does not works towards the aspiration tasks. I have not tried repairing a washer or dryer to see if that counts towards the aspiration.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

My Sims upgraded her washing machine and dryer as a task to complete the fourth step of the Nerd Brain aspiration. She completed the upgrades but they did not count towards the aspiration. It says in the description that repairs and upgrades to any object counts towards the aspiration's task. I can still complete the aspiration's tasks by upgrading objects such as a sink though.

How curious!! I looove laundry and I didn't know it was an issue. I hope it gets fixes
