[FIXED] [HSY] Sims can't ride together [ Edited ]

Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.90.358.1230
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All of them.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Take 2 teen friends to Copperdale pier and attempt to ride the haunted house or ferris wheel together.
What happens when the bug occurs? The sim asking stops and waves their hand with the "something is in the way" bubble above their head. This persisted even after mods were removed/caches were cleared.
What do you expect to see? The 2 sims ride the ride together.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. After the HSY patch and pack installation.

Even after I got rid of my Mods & CC, i still keep having this issue. I was able to get it to work with a teen and her adult sister, but not her and her best friend.

Sims attending the Copperdale Pier together can enjoy the attractions, they can even ride solo or together. The tunnel of love is still reserved for potential love interests though.

My sim can ride the rides and photobooth on the pier alone, but every time I try to get them to ride or go in the photobooth with someone (and that someone agrees), they stand there making noise about how they can't route there (And also have the routing thought bubble). I normally play with mods but also tested without. Also, I know this isn't the typical format for reporting a new bug, but I occasionally seem to get a bug on answers hq where I'm not given the option to use the form that asks all the questions so I'll do my best to answer them:

PC, all packs except men's fashion wear and bust the dust.

As the pack just came out after the latest update, I'd have to say that the problem started after the latest update...

As mentioned, I tested this without mods. I also tried repairing my game.

I experienced this issue 100% of the time.

I have the same issue, but only for sims with the socially awkward trait.
I have tested it several times now, and if the sim doing the asking has this trait, then they get the routing failure.
If a sim without this trait asks someone else to ride, then it works.

Do your sims have the socially awkward trait too?

I have the same issue, i wanted to go in a ride with my sim and his crush and he says that every time something is in the way

@crinrict Nope! No socially awkward trait, just the Overachiever one on my teen.

I am also on the Mac, and have had this happen about 60/40 with one of my teen sims, she doesn't have Social Awkward (I just Triple Checked, she has Athletic and Self-Assured), but I noticed this morning and last night that she had a lot of new embarrassed moodlets that sound like the game thinks she has social awkward trait but I wasn't sure if they were normal for teens or not so I didn't screenshot

Its a completely fresh save on a freshly reinstalled game with a new sims 4 folder that never had mods

I just opened my game and tried again (just to test again with some of the other new traits as well) and now I cannot replicate it - at all!  

I tried it earlier with 5 different sims (2 different households) and in different save files - with and without mods.
I even restarted the game and repaired it in between tries... and everytime the sims with socially awkward trait would be unable to ask to ride with.

But now it suddenly works every time. (for now at least)

I thought I had figured it out....I guess I was wrong :-/

yeah, my sim and her sister could do it after i restarted! so maybe it's an issue solved by a restart but that's still frustrating.

This is happening to me too. I can send my sim on their own but not with a friend/sibling. I don't have any of the new traits and neither does the sibling my sim is trying to go on the rides with. It's been tested with and without mods and it is the same no matter what.
