[FIXED] [HR] Ranch Hand keeps needing to be rehired [ Edited ]

Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.99.264.1030
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Hire a Ranch hand and play with him.
What happens when the bug occurs? I keep having to re-hire the Ranch hand.
What do you expect to see? I except to have the ranch hand coming everyday and doing his job and leaving when he is done.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No

I have tried playing without the mod too, but the issue persist of having to rehire the Ranch Hand. And they do everything else but what they were actually hired to do.

I have the same problem. Every time I hire the ranch hand he arrives, does maybe 1 or 2 things on the ranch, then walks up to the community board that I placed on my plot and then he leaves. Even if there are still a ton of things to do he just walks away. Also, there is no money taken from me when he leaves.

After like 2 days I have to rehire him, but then the same thing happens over and over again. This is pretty frustrating because it's almost impossible to have a ranch with multiple animals without having 2 sims taking care of things the whole day.

@Arterion135Update: I removed the community board and now it seems to work just right! I got suspicious by him always looking at the board before he left, so I sold it. Now he stays the whole day and leaves even with pay.

I hope this gets fixed soon. Having the community board is pretty convenient.

Another update: I still have to rehire the ranch hand after a few days

it's the same for me, either he doesn't come at all and i have to hire him every day or he's there and stays until night and hardly does anything. it's extremely annoying and i hope this will be fixed soon

@KleinNici81 Having the exact same issue. Does very little and leaves in the middle of the night.

For me the guy comes to work and generally does the work, but he doesn't leave at 7 pm. He stays till sometime in the middle of the night. He leaves without payment, and next morning I have to call to hire him again if I want him to show up.

I have this issue, I have the community board on my lot, and the ranch hand works, and leaves at the right time, but I still need to rehire him every couple of days.

I've have also noticed that I have to rehire the ranch hand every few days. I've been playing a new mod (and cc) free save since adding the Horse Ranch EP and my sims have to constantly rehire their ranch hand.  I also repaired my game/deleted the localthumbcache file after installing the pack.

The same ranch hand does come back. Also, I only recently added a community board to my lot and my sims have always had to call every two to three days. i.e. even when the community board wasn't on my lot.

FYI, they live on the 50x50 lot in Galloping Gulch.

I have every pack except the Modern Menswear Kit and my game version is:  1.99.264.1030

Same issue here, sometimes it takes a reloading of the lot for the ranch hand to arrive but they for sure don't arrive on time and I have no idea why
