Product: The Sims 4
Platform: PC/Windows 11/EA App
Which language are you playing the game in?: English
How often does the bug occur?: So far, only once. But I've also only moved households once since the horse pack dropped.
What is your current game version number?: 1.103.315.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed?
Cats and Dogs, City Living, Cottage Living, Desert Luxe, Dine Out, Discover University, Eco Lifestyle, Get to Work, Get Together, Growing Together, Holiday Celebration, Island Living, Laundry Day, Pet Stuff, Knitting Stuff, Paranormal Stuff, Parenthood, Realm of Magic, Romantic Garden, Seasons, Spa Day, Tiny Living, Vintage Glamour and Horse Ranch.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves?
Have a household with goats. Move household into new lot. Place goats from household inventory into new lot.
What happens when the bug occurs?
When moved into new lot with goat-owning household, household is no longer marked as the owner of the goats. Even though I have just placed the goat from my household inventory, in live mode my sims are unable to place in inventory, wash or sell the goats. The error message that appears states that my sims don't own that item. I can still place the goats back into household inventory in build mode.
What do you expect to see?
I expect the sims who own the goats should be able to interact with them as if they own them.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods?
This persisted both with and without master commander mod, which is my only mod.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system?
I don't remember if I ever moved with goats in my household before so I can't be sure.
HEELP (ps4 btw)
I moved my household and my sheep’s and goats went in my inventory. But when I got to my new house my goat was only in my inventory BUT NOT THE SHEEP and so I thought I left the sheep at my old house. Then I get a message she wants to runaway then i click on the notification and it takes me to her. She appears but it says I don’t own her and I can’t feed her or clean her. I tried resting her but that didn’t work. SO HEELLP she is on my lot but can’t take care of her. HEEELPP

Wednesday
- Goats and Sheep now have “Care”, “Put In Inventory”, and “Trade For” interactions right after moving to a new lot.
Fixed in Patch 1.109.185/1.98
Please create a new thread if you're still experiencing this issues

@Tarasaour Did you check both the inventory and the household inventory ?Moving seems to duplicate them: https://answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports/HR-Moving-with-Sheep-and-Mini-Goats-duplicates-them/td-p/13021...
Seems we have several scenarios where this can happen that are all covered in this thread.

So I have had this save for a pretty long time now. I have a cow, a few chicken, and a baby sheep. Suddenly, when I try to put them in my inventory, it says that they are not owned by my sims. Not only that, but because they're "not mine" anymore I can't do specific actions with them. For example, I can't shear my baby sheep even though when I hover over it it says "ready to be sheared". I also can't fulfill their needs, I can't feed or clean them. I can just talk to them. I don't know what to do and they're useless without me owning them.

Hi @Dagamanama Just to confirm, does this happen without mods or custom content?

Hi, sorry for answering this late. Mods don't seem to cause the problem. I can move the animals into my household inventory, but moving them out of it again doesn't change anything.

@Dagamanama Does this look like your issue, but also with the Horse Ranch sheep? https://answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports/OPEN-CoL-LLama-Cow-placed-into-household-inventory-can-t-be/td... Also, does it happen in a new save as well? A new save after removing the mods folder and deleting localthumbcache would be a terrific bug test!
