Cannot delete or move items in build/buy mode

It’s an odd one - I did wonder if it may be related to the Zerbu - copy worlds mod as although I deleted CC, the copied worlds remained, but it’s playing up a new save as well. Have you got any custom content installed?

So far I’ve noticed it on Residential, residential rental, bars and museums. I don’t normally edit my community lots a lot, so it’s probably happening on more.

What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Every pack expansion, game pack, and stuff pack are installed.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Enter build mode on a lot. It does not matter if the lot is empty or has a furnished house on it. Place a single wall, and try to click on it to edit it (dragging it to make the line of wall longer).
What happens when the bug occurs? When trying to edit a single wall, it does not allow me to click on it at all. When I edit a room, it allows me to click and drag as usual. Items placed on a single wall can be selected and moved, but not the wall itself.
What do you expect to see? The ability to edit walls and rooms, not just rooms.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. The For Rent expansion pack and patch. Before 12/5/2023 (update 1.103.250.1020), I had the ability to edit walls and rooms. Now I can no longer edit walls, only rooms.

I'm trying to edit builds I made before this last update, and I'm not able to select the walls. I have to delete them completely, then rebuild from scratch as I can't even select the row of walls to copy it. I don't have my mods installed currently.

Edited to add: This only occurs in residential rental lots. It does not happen on residential lot types.

@crinrict  YES! It says I can’t edit an area I don’t own, which can’t be because i JUST bought the lot…

Yes I’m sometimes getting the same where it will let me delete one and then the problem emerges.
