Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Let your Sims start talking, soon they'll start using mean interactions
What happens when the bug occurs? They use mean interactions randomly, without a reason, ruining relationships.
What do you expect to see? I Expect to see Sims talking normally like it was before the last 2/3 patches.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? On console - never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure 

Is this bug fixed though? Mine were still mean! Anyone else still having the issue??

I need feedback from everyone that's still seeing this.

The SDX should now be part of the patch and Kuttoe checked on the pack interactions and said they were fixed as well.

Since this wasn't in the notes, it would be great if everyone could check their game.

It's really not. Was at a library talking with the librarian who is is a creative neat bookworm. No mean at all. Pleasant conversation, he was happy... As soon as we became good friends he started constantly yelling at and insulting me.

We had a "Sims Delivery Package" yesterday the 1th December 2022, that was supposed to fix this bug, but for me it didn't worked..  as you can see in the photos, the relationship between my sims is ok, so there's no reason to be mean, but this bug still kicks in..

Information about this error

Disclaimer: This is not official info but information Kuttoe (modder) gave me and backed up up by evidence in this thread.

Most mean interactions that are causing this issue have been fixed by the lastetet SDX. Make sure to install it.

Unfortunately, mean interactions that came with packs did not get fixed and hence Sims are still doing this. The bug should only occur if you do not own Snowy Escape but one of the packs mentioned below. 

Cause

The following interactions are still a problem. Please help making it complete so Maxis can fix them all.

• Shout forbidden words (PH)
• Rile Up from the Insensitive trait (PH)
• specific mean interactions between werewolves and vampires (W & V)
• Argue about Dust (BDK)
• mock snowboarding (SE)
• Heckle (for horseshoes from OR)
• pressured the other one to conform (Teen only, PH)
• Certain instances of Yell at (NKSP - Sweater Curse, W)

Legit Interactions

There are a number of mean interactions that are perfectly legal and happen throughout your game. These are NOT bugs. They should not be excessive though unless you have an NAP or Club rule pushing them.

Basic Mean Autonomy 

BOTH of these conditions must be met:

• NOT Happy or Flirty
• NOT Good or Loyal

Additionally one of the following must be met

• Conversation Quality is Distasteful, Offensive, Abhorrent, Insufferably Tedious, or Very Awkward
• Two Sims are Broken Up
• Active Sim is angry
• Friendly Relationship between the Sims is -10 or lower
• Active Sim is Erratic, Mean or Evil
• Active Sim is under the effect of the Begonia Flower Arrangement
• Active Sim is under the effect of Tense Secret Society Spirt
• Active Sim has a bitter or furious Sentiment towards the target Sim.

There's also some nichy autonomy which I don't want to list all at this point but these are probably most common

• Active Sim is a child or teen with the Mean Streak phase
• Active Sim is a child or teen with an Empathy score under -35

What can you do to prevent ?

Shout forbidden words is the most prominent still happening. It might be worth disabling/uninstalling parenthood for now until this get fixed (pretty sure this won't be before January).

I would also suggest backing up your save game regularly so you can go back if it happens again.

Information needed

If your issue is not explainable by any of the above or of if you own Snowy Escape, please post in this thread with either information which interactions your Sims are still doing or providing your save game.

 If this thread is going down the same route again as the last one, I will stop reading and answering. I'm not responsible for what Maxis does and I'm just trying to help with suggestions. I'm really tired of reading angry posts. I get that you want to play and and that the bugs are infuriating but keeping to reporting what you're seeing and give as much info as possible so it can be narrowed down what wasn't fixed is more helpful. - Does it happen with all Sims or just certain ones ?

- Have you tested a new save game for testing purposes to see if it still happens there ?

- For those of you on PC/Mac, please check the following folder: Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\content. Do you have any files with yesterday's date (or today if you downloaded the SDX today)

- Are there any specific mean interactions your Sim does ? If so, which ones.

Have you tested a new save game for testing purposes to see if it still happens there? Yes!!! Old save and New save
What happens when the bug occurs? Sim shouts forbidden words and relationship decreases.
What do you expect to see? No sim insulting other sims, ESPECIALLY GOOD SIMS!!! I shouldn't see my good sims being mean!!

What traits do your Sims have? Geek, Music, Dance Machine. Pretty much all my 8 sims in the household DO NOT HAVE THE MEAN OR EVIL TRAIT!!!!

I am not happy here, I had to wait nearly 2 months for this annoyance to be fixed, this is very appalling!! Sure we get packs and other stuff rolling out, but bug fixes need to be a priority here and I'm not just talking about the mean bug.

@crinrict Hey Crin, Here's the answers to questions that weren't in the main form, My Sim has the following traits (the main starting ones) Good, Friendly, Romantic, no i haven't tested it on a new save (i prefer a fix for a current save due to the infinitely families that i made with their own houses, like all the towns are with custom houses and families, it took ages to have such a beautiful "world"), And yes, the bug happens with different Sims as well.

@DJ_Strage Testing a new save will help to narrow down why some are still seeing it so it would be good if you could test that.

I do think a fix should be also working on existing saves but it's best to provide as much info as possible.

EDIT: Do you have the other items that came with the SDX ?

@crinrict Ok, as soon i can, will test on a new gamesave, but i repeat that i would prefer a fix for existing saves, i spent so much on my save that if I'd have to restart from scratch after creating lots and lots of families, and made them great houses in all towns, would be terrible for me
