I had an issue with the name 'choo-choo' when creating my irl pet cat. I searched it up and maybe it's because choo means toilet in swahili?? I think that's a bit silly

I created a Sim and named her Reverie LaMer-Reverie means daydream and LaMer means the sea... 

I'm so confused.

@SBSBelle I think the profanity filter maybe picks up on "lame" in LaMer, you could try to add a space so that it's La Mer instead

I was told, we should also flag unjustified disallowed words in other languages in this thread.

One of these words is the German 'ganz' - meaning whole, entire, all ...

There are even descriptions of EA lots, that contain this word, so that you can't upload them to the gallery if you don't change the description.

I am posting this on behalf of a Dutch Simmer @MewsTheCat who is not very familiar with the English Language

The name "Snorre" seems to be disallowed.

As far as I know this name is a normal Scandinavian name. Although the name is used in the Dutch game for a cat (means something like 'Whiskers') Simmer won't be able to upload it tho the Gallery

@TrismagistosAs a Scandinavian (Swede, specifically) I can confirm that Snorre is a normal name. But, it's also a slang for a specific type of organ, the same way as the name D*ck. I don't think it should be disallowed for that reason, because it IS a name, and most Scandinavians have heard of it even though it's not a very common name. For example Snorre Sturlasson (1149-1271) was a famous Icelandic author and politician.

Edit: Apparently I had to censor the name D*ck due to all of it turning into an asterisk otherwise.

I have the same problem, I made a Sim with the Name Jacob Farmer and his Dog Tobey, and one of the names seems to be not allowed.

I am now wondering wich name it is and why, both Jacob and Tobey are perfectly normal english names and I cant really see the problem with them. 

It cant be Farmer because that is a name the random generator gave me.
