@JonaO703 My friends account was already fixed on my end I’m pretty sure i deleted his data when I deleted mine when i deleted my data file
(because I had to fix all of his settings again aswell just like mine and his event is working to)

@furryEli Thanks again for your replies and testing! I decided to pay the $9.99 for a monthly subscription to PS+. I can now confirm that it is in fact different than using a USB storage device. When I selected the option to upload data to the cloud, I was presented with a list of my saves and also the User Data file to upload. I did not get that when I attempted to move data to the USB device. I was then able to delete the game data and the save data from my PS5. The game is now downloading but my internet speed is really slow so it may take a while for me to test downloading my saves back from the cloud. Still, I wanted PS players to know that the PS cloud option to preserve saves may be a viable option for them, since I think the main concern is potentially losing long term saves. I will provide an update when I'm able to DL my save data back to my PS5 but I do think this process should be a safe way to preserve game saves.

got the work around to work for one single round of the event and back to just the icon no more events or plumbobs… real waste of time

I saw @Stevv002 s post earlier and I did save to the cloud, though if you only delete the one file it does not interfere with saves. You have to re accept terms and conditions and treats you as a new player, but not real data loss!

so deleted user data AGAIN got event back, but not only no way to expedite ambrosia newsletter but mail has not been delivered now in over a week

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Open the game in any save file.
What happens when the bug occurs? When I opened my save file to carry on the Reapers Rewards Challenge, the button to click to open the awards window is there, and I can click on it. I can see the awards I have claimed, and where I am up to in the tasks, but not the little icon to open the Task GUI. I have played through a holiday since, and that one appeared correctly, but not the Reapers Rewards tasks.
What do you expect to see? The menu icon in the top right corner with the tasks underneath when I click it.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.

Please describe the patch or change you made. The patch from this morning, but I have not played the game in a week.
I have already removed all mods and reset my save file after the patch for Life and Death. I left it that way to play through the challenge with a clean game.
Everything was going fine until the update this morning, although I have not played in a week, and so I was wondering if the fact the original six weeks has passed and we are in the 'extra time' part of the challenge may have something to do with it?
