Thank you for the post. BF5 is there -- BF2042 not?

I guess we can take that as official communication from EA that they consider BF2042 to be dead and not something the expect ANY revenue from from now on forward.

Maybe I’m being far too optimistic but it says there is an undisclosed remake coming in Q4, could it be that they are going to remake 2042?

Would be cool if this meant they'd go back to developing for Battlefield 5.

@Dedzigs * lol. I guess EA didn't remind the IR (investor relations) team that 2042 is the "current" Battlefield.

Unsurprisingly, the operating highlights includes no mention of BF2042 (but does mention Apex!). Literally the only BF mention is in their boilerplate.

Kinda expected given that BF2042 has done a whole lot of nothing but eat up money and resources so far - at least as far as investors are concerned. But at the same time EA not even talking up the start of S1 in their written materials is fairly worrying.

The clown shoes show from DICE and EA continues, I guess.

Personally hoping for Tib Sun / RA2 remake.

Actually...that's accurate. "Live-service" for 2042 hasn't begun, so it would be incorrectly listed on this slide.

BFV, despite being abandoned by DICE and no longer "supported live-service", is still the most recent BF "live-service" game, even if it's "abandoned live-service".

But the lack of any mention about S1 in the written materials is hilarious. I think EA is trying to forget about 2042 as much as everyone else is.
