Question on classes and specialists:

Why are specialists what define the class and not the gadget? It seems like the ability of the specialist has little to do with its squad functionality while the gadgets clearly do. For instance, if I'm the Emma, smart explosives and a wing suit are not helpful for my squad mates to know about. So calling her assault is useless until I know she is carrying ammo crates. So remove the class identifier based on specialist and identify class based on gadget. That would keep the flexibility in place and would help people know roles. The specialist doesn't really impact the squad the way the class or gadget does.

It makes me so happy to see that these complaints will actually be fixed for release which makes me believe This might be my multiplayer GOTY together with Halo

I don't need you to help my controller feel more fair in a battle with M&K players. I need you to give me the option to also use a M&K, so we do truly have a fair battle. You could turn on an aimbot for my controller on PS5 and i'd still perfer to play M&K. Please allow consoles the option.

Loved all the feedback and the changes you mentioned all seem like great additions.

My one constructive criticism: Can we have an option to turn off the critical alert messages?

Even in BFV, which I love playing, those messages are distracting and kind of pointless to me.  By that I mean, it is important to me to know that objective B has been taken but not while I'm in the middle of a firefight at E.  I'll reassess what objectives we have after the fight is over and decide where to move next by looking at the map or the objective status indicator at the top of the screen.  But seeing a big message while I'm actively looking for enemies hiding in an objective is much more of a hinderance than an aide.

I was hoping that there were a total score. Leaning that you can manually bind. Deleting the “cross system” or make it at least so it change at a ammo station. Hate the infinite ammo on vehicles. Bring back BFV ammo system that you need to resupply the vehicle. Revive system from BFV was the best. Hate to see that change. Don’t like the special characters with special perks. What is wrong with just regular medic assault support and sniper? Don’t get me started about bots. Battlefield 2042 doesn’t feel like a love letter. More like a breakup letter.

It’s nice and all the make the game playable for the new generation. But if you played every battlefield from the start you just see something die slowly

Really like alot of these changes.  Some ones that stood out to me as still being a problem is the lack of a massive scoreboard at the end.  Having a massive 64 + 64 player scoreboard is one of the big selling points of this game and it should be displayed right after the best squad is shown (Like BF1).

Another issue I have is the length of the setup "flow".  I was very impressed by the 2042 beta's loading time but now it sounds like we have to artificially wait 60 seconds every time a game starts. Being forced to look at your squad's skins every game sounds like a slog if you're playing 10 games a day that's nearly a half a game's worth of time watching "commercials".  The Halo Infinite beta did this too and I hated it.  You load-in and then you have to watch stupid air boxing animations for 20 seconds.  It makes a bit more sense for them though because their game is a free to play, Battlefield isn't!

Finally most important to a lot of people is that you add default soldiers with some reason to play them.  Maybe they get no special passive abilities the specialists get, but instead they are allowed to carry two customizable equipment based on their class (instead of 1 for the specialist).

From what it looks like it's going to be 4 man squads, can we expect that number to increase? Going back from 5 to 4 seems like a step backwards, I'd love to see 6 man squads. Also will you add a traditional scoreboard or it will remain that from the Beta?
