@Straatford87 Thank you for the update! Much of the community I'm sure appreciates the direct response to some of the feedback we provided in playing the beta.

One thing I'm not seeing addressed here, though, is the visibility of gadgets from other team members. It's nice to see the commorose make a comeback, as it's staple to the series. But how do I know I'm not just shouting for ammo when the nearest soldiers around me may only have medpacks? I made a suggestion in a previous thread to have a symbol either next to or replacing the Specialist symbol to indicate which gadget a squad/team-member has equipped. I believe this is much more vital information to have first hand rather than the specialist the user is playing, as most of the Specialists abilities don't seem to have any significant precedence over the resources that players will constantly be going through (ammo, meds, repairs). I believe this suggestion, or limiting the specific gadgets to the class archetypes that Specialists seem to come from, but have no practical use for currently, would make the most sense.

Right off the bat, it would be more useful for players to know how any given player could be of use to them with these resources, which is why many enjoyed the class system in previous games. The classes made it distinctly identifiable who you could depend on for your needs. I am fine with the Specialists, so long as there's similar ways to know at a first glance how they can be useful with their gadgets to their team. That's the core of what Battlefield is about, is teamwork! Teams doing big crazy things together!

I'm all for specialists but... I forsee some serious balancing and changes to your lineup. You have 2 intel gathering specialists 1 is clearly superior(wall hacks). You have 2 medics and again imo 1 is clearly superior(quick revive and armor plates for friendlies). I guess we will have to wait and see but your wall hack specialist will be the #1 unless you nerf her.

Alot of the other changes are great and glad to see them. Hope weapon customization is equal to or bigger than bf4.

You need a reload animation after changing in the plus menu otherwise certain weapons become broken. Lmg reload speed is almost instant. Plus with macros on pc it will break it even more. You need some sort of delay. IMO an animation for every attachment is overkill but you need to do something.

IMO with specialists. I think you should add another gadget slot or give the ability to remove an ability to substitute a 2nd gadget. This would allow greater freedom and make specialists feel unique. Maybe even allow your specialist to have no abilities and have 3 gadgets. Just a thought that I dont think would be hard to implement but I could be wrong about that.

As for everyone looking the same I think people need to chill. You already know there are going to be in game skins and you already know there are atleast 4 in game right now based off just the preorders. Yes everyone looks the same in the beta but I dont think that will be a problem at launch or shortly after launch. I do think not being able to customize individual parts of the body is kinda stale and elite skins are a all or nothing package is kinda lame too but everyone will not look the same shortly after launch.

Loving what I am seeing, these changes are great and address the majority of the concerns I had.

1 issue that I see is still present and I really hope can be resolved is that you can only see your selected fire mode when you are ADS. When you are not ADS then the fire mode prompt gets replaced by the plus system prompt... please can this be amended? I think the plus menu prompt makes more sense for it to be down by the vehicle call in prompt.

Keep up the great work guys! Looking forward to seeing you on the battlefield =)

One last thing I want to ask for. Can we get back the original leaderboard. It is much more detailed and you can see enemy kills and score, same with the rest of ur team.

Let the assault / medic specialist with assault weapons and assault gadjets, recon specialist with sniper weapons and recon gadjets, enginner specialist with smgs and lauchers etc. The support specialist with LMGs and support gadjets. Just separe the specialist in their classes, don't let everyone with any weapon / gadjet, i think this improve the game and we gonna have the felling of classic BFs class system plus the specialist roles. And need to be a mode to differ the US players to RU players (with different skins to same specialist but one at a team and another for the other team, or let 5 specialist to US team and 5 another specialist to RU team).

@BGSantosTOpBOyS If we could get a medic box or ammo box with one the medic or engineer class instead of using a slot that would be nice

Thank you for taking a moment and communicating with us regarding our concerns.

To be completely honest I am still worried about specialists but without having a hands on experience I cant give adequate feedback.

I keep brainstorming how DICE can have it's cake "specialists" and eat it too "please veterans" . I think implementing the commander function from previous bf would assist in this adds incentive to lead. This was not covered in the update so if this is already implemented I am sorry for wasting your time.

Create Pre-set Response Curves For Controller

As a controller player on PC, I found it very odd that there were no pre-set response curves. There was also no option for stick acceleration. I think it would be great to use pre-set response curves and stick sensitivity similar to that of Apex Legends. On Apex my sensitivity is 4(looking) 3(ADS) with a classic response curve, but I could not emulate it in the BF2042 beta. I would say I spent 2 hours tweaking my settings to no avail. However, I am glad to see that there will be more aim assist. Lack of AA could have potentially been a reason for controller gameplay to feel so foreign in the beta.

@Straatford87 I don't entirely dislike the Specialists, but seeing Mackay on both sides is not very immersive. Even if you add skins, those skins can be used on both sides which gives the same result. They could leave the specialists if they add at least one badge to the uniforms that shows which one belongs to each side or divide the specialists by side.
