[OPEN] [ECO] Off-grid fridges drain power, can't turn off utility usage
[ Edited ]
★ Apprentice

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.63.133.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? With Eco-Lifestyle, use Off-the-Grid lot trait; have a turbine or solar panel to generate power; eventually message will appear saying lot is generating power surplus. Have one of the 2 off-the-grid fridges: "IceBOX Vintage Refrigerator" or "30 Day Glimmerbrook Fridge". Then, without using the fridge or any power items, eventually message will appear saying lot has "used up the last of its power reserves". There is no option to "Turn off Utility Usage" unlike with off-the-grid showers and toilets.

What do you expect to see? I expect that power will ONLY be drawn from the off-the-grid fridge if we use the power options initially disabled when there is no power-reserve. It should not automatically start draining the power on its own just because my lot is now generating power. It should function how it does when there is no power reserve. Otherwise, there should be an option to turn off utility usage like off-the-grid toilets and showers have.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. Eco Lifestyle

As reported in bug form.
