No, one asked for it.

We said multiple times the R301 is perfect, so why the heck you nerf it?

When you buff the weapons you buff the game.

R301 -> 30 Magazine

@hhnbbfggty66 Because it was like a laser cannon, there were no drawbacks to it so it needed to be slightly tweaked.

The drawback was it dealt low damage with a moderate fire rate..

Now there is no reason to use the darn thing its better to use a G7 or Flatline now.

Flatline have way worse recoil and close dps.

G7 is way less forgiving.

Good for you if you have better results with those on same situation.

It needed a nerf to be honest. Now it pretty much balanced. It's meant to laser people at close to mid range. They nerfed it because it was able to laser people at longer range which shouldn't be a thing for the 301. It wasn't intended, so it got nerfed at long range with different recoil. 

301 is still a good weapon if you a close/mid range player.

You still can laser people with it...just takes alot more control or high quality attachments.

I find the recoil increase actually makes it deadlier in cqc too due to the vertical rise.

@EA_Blueberry I ran the R301 in season 1, but I felt it was not good without a level 2 or 3 magazine.

Its downside was its total magazine damage.

Yup the mag cap is a bit of a pain.  I run the re-45 as a secondary and have the same issue.

@hhnbbfggty66 There still is a reason to use it and never compare the G7 to the R301 or Flatline the G7 is cheeks. The Flatline is hard hitting, slow firing, and has no attachment to control recoil so it is best used in close range. The R301 was adjusted to make it so it cannot laser people from across the map with a no stabilizer or even a level 1 stabilizer. It now has more recoil both vertical and horizontal at medium to long range; it now requires some skill and some attachments to get the full use of it instead of having a mag and a basic muzzle mod. It is fine how it is now. All these weapons have their own niche and the r301 is now in a good spot.
