Bringing a knife or sword into a gun fight type of thing. I like that idea and some characters have a default melee weapon anyways,so people can’t say it wouldn’t work.
For times when you run out of ammunition and your fist alone won’t be able to finish the job.
Which can be included into a fun melee only mode. With half the map already in the ring, everyone running and slide around as they swing their weapon. With the champions being shown standing with their weapon of choice.
Perhaps a new map made only for melee weapons. If people don’t like it than the devs won’t include it as a loot option.
