Either damage or recoil have to be brought down because as of right now it's the single best weapon in thr game even with no attachments at all, 1-3 burst kill even with blue/purple evo is not ok.
Either they have to revert the last fire rate buff or they have to bring down its dmg to like 19-20 (right now is at 22 per bullet and a full burst can do 122- 132 on headshot without taking into account fortified or low profile)
There is no chance other weapon beats it in mid range without the fight turning into a peek a boo contest, close range is the only way to go against it and even then unless you have a devotion point blank or have perfect accuracy you might still lose just for raw damage alone
