Tyre Allocations in F1® 22 - UPDATE [ Edited ]

Hey drivers,

Following on from our update around tyre allocations in F1® 22 and your ongoing feedback around this, we have made some further changes to race weekend tyre allocations in F1® 22 with today's 1.15 update.

You will now have the choice of weekend tyre allocations between three set options: Softer, Balanced, and Harder. While tyre compound totals for a race weekend have not changed, these options adjust the distribution of the tyres within each session.

These allocation choices will allow for greater strategy diversity, including multiple stints on the same tyre compounds during a race session - such as Medium, Soft, Medium strategies - whilst also ensuring that players have enough tyres available to complete a race.

Additionally, only Soft compound tyres will be permitted for use in Qualifying sessions during weekends that feature Sprint races, as per the real-world regulations.

We value your ongoing feedback and will still look to expand the way tyres can be allocated throughout a race weekend for our future titles.
