Bf2042 specialists/class hybrid




Class system with specialists

 

All specialists gadgets will become normal gadgets. Specialists become basically just characters with skins. Wingsuit, turret and grapling hook could become a Pick up gadget

 

The game also needs more gadgets overall (Some of this lists gadgets are from portal)


Classes




Assault  (Mackay, Falck, Sundance)

 

Weapons: ARs/Utility/DMRs (SVK is only for recon)

 

Gadgets:

 

  • Scatter grenades (From Smart grenades)
  • Health crate
  • Defibs  (new gadget or A passive gadget)
  • Medpen
  • Syringe pistol
  • Smoke launcher  (NEW)
  • Soflam
  • Grapling hook (Could be a pick-up gadget)

 

(Assault needs more gadgets)





Support (angel, dozer)

 

Weapons: LMGs/Utility/DMRs

 

Gadgets:

 

  • Ammo crate with Supply drop (Only for changing main weapons that are available for the class you are playing)
  • Angels ammo ”pouches” but with no Armor
  • C5
  • Dozers shield
  • AT mine
  • deploayble cover
  • Armor (max +10hp If not removed from the game)
  • Smoke launcher (NEW)
  • Claymores (PORTAL)




Engineer (Irish and boris)

 

Weapons: SMGs/Utility/DMRs (No SVK)

 

Gadgets:

 

  • M5 recoilless
  • Anti air launcher
  • Repair tool
  • Trophy system
  • AT mine
  • EMP and AT grenades. (no lock on for AT grenades)
  • EOD bot
  • New Rocket Launchers (PORTAL or NEW)
  • Boris Turret (Could be a pick up)



Recon (Casper, Rao, Paik)

 

Weapons: Sniper rifles + SVK/DMRs

 

Gadgets:

 

  • C5
  • Soflam
  • Insertion beacon
  • Caspers drone
  • Raos hacking equipment
  • Grapling hook (Could be a pick-up)
  • EMP grenades
  • Minimap Decoy

 

Recon will also be the only class with scan grenades.

 

Perks

 

  • All Perks will be removed from specialists.
  • Perk system would become similar to previous battlefield where you just choose the perk you want.
  • Classes will have different perks

 

Factions

 

  • Since Now specialists are just Character with skins they can be divided to different factions.
  • For example Irish will be only available for USA and Boris will only be available for Russia.
  • This would help with identifying the enemy
  • Default skins for all specialists should be changed/modified to make them look more like their factions soldiers.

 

Skins

 

  • Skins are still made for a certain specialists*
  • Skins can become faction specific since a specialists will only fight for 1 faction

 

*since certain specialists are only on 1 Faction it doesn’t really matter how does the skin look as long as the players class and faction can be identified.

 

Voicelines

 

  • Just remove them. Portals End of a round screen looks so much cooler.

Why do we need a hybrid system? The specialists need to go. The class system has always worked, and it doesn't need to change. I dunno why DICE won't just let their * characters die. It's the #1 thing they could do to save this game.

Can you please fix the explosiveness of rounds/grenades!!! Lobbing a grenade or firing a grenade from an under barrel that lands at the feet of a AI or Real player SHOULD NOT result in a hit marker. It should result in a kill or multiple kills. Same with tank rounds! I should NOT get a hit marker when hitting an individual with a round from a tank. Severely broken!! Same with thermal grenades. When I get hit with one, I die instantly. When I throw or lob one (from under barrel) you see the hit marker flashing but no death.
12M shotgun - one shot kill from an extreme distance? HORRIBLE!!!

 

I'm guessing nobody spoke/consulted with a weapons person when calculating damage for guns. Ever shoot in game with the sniper, get the headshot indicator and the person survives? Ummm yeah should be death.

 

Please fix your broken damage system. It is truly infuriating.
