We have formed this list to update you on Known Issues we are currently tracking for Battlefield 2042. Where workarounds are available, we'll also list them here.

How do I report a bug or issue?

• Check the Known Issues list below just in case we are already tracking it, while this list may not be the definitive full list, we will keep it updated.
• If the issue isn't reported below, please visit our Battlefield 2042 bug report section to report it. If you've experienced an account-related issue, please get in touch with us via EA Help.

High CPU Load - PC - AWARE  @ 6/12 09:00 UTC

With the Season 3 Update we've made changes to improve game performance on PC. Allowing better utilization of the CPU during gameplay is part of these improvements, and in general we're now seeing a positive increase in performance. However, some of you have reported instances of full CPU load leading to reduced game stability.

We've added additional changes and tweaks as part of Update 3.1, and we're still investigating further improvements for an upcoming game update.

Workaround: As the game is now better optimized to draw resources from the CPU, if you notice throttling then try increasing your in-game visual quality settings and resolution to instead switch some of that load over to your GPU. We encourage playing around with your Settings to find out what works best for your specific system.
