We have formed this list to update you on Known Issues we are currently tracking for Battlefield 2042. Where workarounds are available, we'll also list them here.

How do I report a bug or issue?

• Check the Known Issues list below just in case we are already tracking it, while this list may not be the definitive full list, we will keep it updated.
• If the issue isn't reported below, please visit our Battlefield 2042 bug report section to report it. If you've experienced an account-related issue, please get in touch with us via EA Help.

Note: we will continue updating this thread so you know where to go in case you come across an issue. We'll also keep you updated via @BattlefieldComm - be sure to follow this account on Twitter to always stay in the know.

Live Service Alerts

Delayed Rank Up Rewards and Unlocks - All platforms - AWARE 16/06 @ 12:00 UTC

• Whilst we investigate an issue, Rank Up Rewards and Unlocks will only be received during End of Round instead of immediately during the match upon reaching the unlock criteria.

In-game Menus <Not Set> Text Displaying - Console - AWARE 20/05 @ 12:00 UTC

• With the release of Update #1.0 we noticed that some in-game menus display <NOT SET>, or placeholder text when using alternate button mappings on your controller.
  • WORKAROUND: all the menu buttons still work, and this issue is set to be resolved in a future update. You can mitigate this happening for yourself right now by not using alternate button mappings.
  • Note: this is currently set to be resolved in the next game update

All-Out Warfare - Breakthrough 64 - ONGOING 08/06 @ 12:00 UTC

• We have temporarily reverted Breakthrough 64 back to exclusively featuring Small Layouts (64 Player-Space) on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC. This step has been made to address an issue that we are seeing with incorrect ticket values on all maps. In a future update, we plan to continue having Breakthrough 64 feature both Large (128 Player-space) and Small (64 Player-space) layouts with a maximum of 64 players in Breakthrough 64.
  
  

Vehicle Loadouts Resetting in Battlefield Portal - AWARE 19/05 @ 14:00 UTC

• Vehicle Loadouts may reset after playing in a Battlefield Portal server that had such vehicles disabled as part of the overall experience. This will be resolved in a future update.

Incorrect Rank Numbers / All Platforms - AWARE 08/03 @ 11:25 UTC

• As players continue to work through higher ranks in Battlefield 2042, we have been made aware about a series of ranking numbers being in the correct order throughout player progression. Some of the following immediate ranks are affected, including some higher ranks: Rank 46-48, 52-54, 93-95, 118-120, 162-164.
