The Leviathan Wakes…
A special division has begun to stir. The next mid-season event is just around the corner.
You can expect brand-new themed cosmetics to earn alongside the ability to jump into a new mode that will task you with getting up close and personal with the enemy.
But for now, one question remains - will you be able to shut down the Leviathan in time?
Stay tuned for more details.
New Vault Weapons
This fully automatic firing weapon has a 30-round capacity with a low spread and decent recoil. If you’re a fan of utilizing burst-fire modes on your weapons, optics are suggested for staying on target.
Feeding from a magazine instead of a belt affords this LMG the fastest reload speed of its class - at the cost of magazine capacity. Risk versus lethality.
This short recoil and high mobility sidearm was standard issue for a long time, but don't let its age (or size) fool you, this quick-firing weapon means business
IBA Armor Plate Overhaul
In this update we’re overhauling the protective benefits of the Armor Plate.
Armor protection benefits will now only apply to the torso area of your character, and no longer provide protection for the entire character.
This means any hit to an enemies torso while they have IBA Armor Plates applied will result in a deduction to the player’s armor first and once depleted, damage will follow through to the character's health.
The functionality of the IBA Armor Plate outside of this remains unchanged, including explosive damage to armor.
With this overhaul, we are responding to player feedback that armor plating is too effective, and we’re making steps to allow you to counter that gadget by providing a skill enhancement to gameplay, encouraging you to prioritize your shots in order to earn faster takedowns.
General & Gameplay Improvements
Dev Comment: In order for this change to take place, any Engineer that had a DM7 equipped will find that their loadout has changed to the LCMG.
Specialist Mastery Improvements:
This announcement may change as we listen to community feedback and continue developing and evolving our Live Service & Content. We will always strive to keep our community as informed as possible.
Will this fix the distorted audio from X6-Infiltration Device that sticks with you after you destroyed enemy device in it's radius? Now the sound sticks with you until you die and respawn
@nano3570 Agreed with Everything you said.
I have been asking for MORE Maps for ages. This game is so boring due to the lack of different places and looks etc that there is no real difference. And once inside, they all tend to look the same anyway.
I also agree with the Sea side of things too. Oh, and how about being able to parachute from a C130 instead of just a helicopter drop off.
And where are the circling Gunships we used to have. This game hasent gone forwards, it's gone Backwards.
March - last edited March
I would like to state that I am very pleased that we agree on same matter.
Additionally; yes, I regret that there is a lack of gunship and parachute unit in the game, I also wish they would add them.
Why do we want such things? Because there is an important feature of battlefield that separates it from other games such as CoD, P*bG, Cs...
This game is a complete war game.
Ok, I agree; no submarines and destroyers have been added to the game in the history of battlefield (although it is visible on the map as accessories but it was not active).
However, they could at least add maps like the Bf4, Bf 2 before, with aircraft carriers, small maritime patrol boats and gunships as you stated.
In modern wars (we saw this before in the ıraq Gulf wars),firstly logistics transfer is completed to the region. Then, the determined targets are usually destroyed by cruise missiles(launched from warships or land vehicles and aircraft attacks from land or sea) to all regional energy stations, radars, military bases and factories.
Then, an operation is carried out on the targets with parachute from the air, amphibious landing from the sea (of course, if there is a sea connection).
Of course, I regret to say that I am not very hopeful for Dice to make such a detailed and complex update.Their course shows that, but i still want to trust and hope them.
My best regards...
What about addressing something for us Trophy / Achievemt hunters? It's been made clear that HZ is no longer receiving support... when will there be consideration in changing the requirements for those trophies / achievements to something else involving the games main (and much more enjoyable) focus?
So, explosive spam is an insane issue: transport vehicles having explosive rounds and encourages people to use them like artillery, the assault having a new gadget that is broken, no cap on grenade launcher ammo, zains airburst launcher. The RM8 is clearly the best gun in the game, the G57 is a one burst for anyone with good aim and your answer is to once again nerf snipers? Encouraging a camping playstyle and making the weapons even weaker? I understand the dispersion on the NTW as it one shots and shouldn't be in the game but aren't the other three bad enough? Also adding a 9th LMG into the game with still only 4 snipers?
For context I've been running around sniping aggressively and the previous change to SWS and DXR one shot was necessary however the hipfire wasn't. Now your answer is to once again add another reason not to use the hardest weapons unless you play in a way everyone hates. Could you not add the ability that recon classes revert this change when using snipers so people don't use the benefits of the assault class?
