Does this issue persist? Sometimes issues like these are only temporary.
If the issue persists then I would recommend to contact a Game Advisor via EA Help so they can review your account.
Start with selecting your country of residence to setup your contact. If your country isn't listed you should select either United States or United Kingdom.
Now follow the numbered steps as shown in the picture. If you are unable to login you will also be able to create an anonymous case at this point.

Thanks for updating me on what the issue was. I have to admit that my mind didn't immediately go to a potential Xbox Live issue..
I hope you're enjoying the game again meanwhile..
