Issues with new update (opinions/tips please)

Is it just me, or with this new update is jab and and backing up now OP. I feel like I've encountered more guys moving in and out while spamming jab hooks and blocking than I ever have. I feel like I'm playing UFC 2 where the head movement almost feels useless.
