I'm not one to ever come to the forums to complain for one individual loss on a particular fight, but I've noticed this issue in several fights for people who spam takedowns/ground game. I just got done fighting an Eddie Alvarez who spammed about 32 takedowns and was successful on about 8 of them. If someone was denied 32 takedowns (since it seems were trying to emulate real life here), they would be entirely out of gas (see Damian Maia vs Twood). This wasn't the only instance where I've seen this, there isn't much punishment to spamming and getting takedowns denied and I think that needs to be addressed.
