Please try resetting your router and console (remove them from the power for about two minutes), this usually helps when you are experiencing connection issues.
If the issue remains then also be sure to use a wired ethernet connection when trying to connect to the EA servers. If the issue persists then double-check your network settings to see if a connection to the UFC 2 servers is allowed:

Connecting to Ultimate Team than to an opponent only works 40% of the time. Usually, I will start connecting to my opponent then it says that the connection was lost and I have lost all of my training cards trying to do this. (Which I would like back!) After that, it kicks me out of Ultimate Team and tells me that I was unable to connect and that the servers are busy.
