Overly Tall Lightweight Fighters <Please Explain>

Hi everyone I'm new to the forums but have been experiencing this issue more and more lately. In Ultimate Team I like to play at lightweight so when I make a boxer I make him the maximum height of 6'1 only to fight an opponent who is also lightweight that is either 6'3 or 6'6!!! How is this even possible?
