my origin account will not let me log in. when i go to sign in it just says "you must be online when logging in for the first time" how do i fix this? someone let me know as soon as possible please, and thank you

I suggest you try these simple steps, for some this has solved similar issues. Run Origin as Administrator - Right click on Origin.exe and go to properties. Then go to compatibility tab and tick the box next to RUN AS ADMIN.

I have the same issue. I have a message now that says "online login is currently unavailable" and if i try to login i get the you must be online for your first login.

Here are a few things to try.
1) Ensure the date and time on your computer are correct. Not sure why, but this will prevent origin connections.
2) Go to internet Options in the control panel. In the Connections tab, go to LAN settings and ensure Proxy server is not checked.
3) Disable all anti-virus/firewalls or add Origin to their exceptions list.
4) Do a cleanboot to make sure there are no software interferences. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135
