Unable to joint Friends Private Lobby Xbox One

I am unable to join a friends Private Lobby. We we're playing together yesterday and all was well until we tried today.

Connection times out for both of us.

I am unable to send him a Game Invite (the box is grey and unselectable) and he cannot send me one either. We are able to connect in a party and chat and play online in other games. But only experiencing problems with Titanfall.

I have recently opened up all the ports on my router.

Any other advice or solutions to this problem?
