Titanfall crashes in menu screen via materialsystem_dx11.dll (not mid-game)

Excellent work!  Looks like Origin and Respawn need to hire better developers and QA.  It's a sad truth that open Beta's are the new Prod.

Here is the platform folder from the beta, if you're having this issue, unzip the archive and put the folder in C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Titanfall.
Hopefully this fixes your problem.

I have tried this, but when I extract the files from the archive, it tells me they are corrupt.

this download worked for me!

before i copied the files over, i backed up the original.  I notice 1 file missing and another file that had file size descrepencies.

this file was not in my original folder:

boxfilter_cs50.vcs

and this file was about 400MB too small in my original folder:

lightmappedgeneric_ps40.vcs

original size in my folder 1.1 MB

downloaded file was 400MB

all the other files matched in size.

Download the files and change on my /fxc

Start the game again using recommend settings and works. Finish the trainning without problems.
