Titanfal sound is constant static - How to fix?

Hi there,

Just bought Titanfall through Steam.   It's the Elite Edition with the Titanfall2 in the bundle.

I get this error when I run the game through Steam:

Titanfall Audio Installation Failed

Unexpected Parameter 'Files'
Expecting one CAM task list parameter and possibly options.
Recognized options are '-ro', '-fake', '-noquick', and '-dump'

Ini the game the sound is a CONSTANT static.   How do I fix this?   It's unplayable.

What does this mean, and how do I fix it?
